Aching Arms

Spent today in transit. Mostly flying, 13.5 hours to be exact which is why our arms ache slightly. Left our hotel at 9pm Thursday UK time and arrived in Wales at 8:30 pm Friday.

Smooth flight which consisted of lots of movie watching for Carol and some snoozing and movie watching for Simon. We were rather taken aback when we got off the plane at Heathrow as we could feel the heat immediately. Did wonder for a split second if we arrived at the wrong place.

Lots of traffic heading down to Wales which is to be expected on a Friday night. Took us 4 hours when usually it’s a mere 3, but we arrived safely to a very warm welcome.
