LET’S TAKE IT APART
Finding a leak.
Neither of us slept much on our first night. Woke at 4 am and gave up at 5 am and decided it was time for a cuppa. It was lovely to hear the seagulls first thing. I am sure they sound different to the Australian ones. Will have to google that later to see if it’s just my imagination. To me the British seagulls gently call to each other, whereas the Aussie ones just seem to scream MINE, MINE, MINE! if you’ve seen Finding Nemo you get the idea!
Then once the gulls have settled down it’s the gentle dawn chorus of the twittering of the delicate British birds….much more gentle than the Sulphur Crested Cockatoos that break our slumber in Australia with their impersonations of Pterodactyls. I would not change anything though as nature is a beautiful thing in both countries…..just don’t mention the spiders and snakes!
Jean’s car had a leak so Steve and Simon decided it would be a good idea to rip it apart!….okay but of an exaggeration…they took the back bumper off and ripped out, I mean gently removed the back panels. Will have to wait and see tomorrow if problem has been solved.
