The tour starts.

After a stress free transfer from our hotel to the airport, easy check in and early boarding we were ready to fly. Carol was close to losing her rag with the guy in the seat in front of us as he kept moving around.  Luckily her eyes just rolled and the voice in her head that yelled would..you..please.. just.. sit..still…… did not venture out of her mouth!

Arrival at Singapore could not have been smoother. We were expecting hassle at immigration and the arrival cards that are now linked to a passport, but all was well. Baggage came through quickly and no queues for a taxi. From landing and getting to our hotel was just over an hour.

We did book a room with an ocean view…….
Well, if you look close enough past the high rises there is a gap between the buildings and you can indeed see the sea.
