Castell Carreg Cennen.

Welcome to officially the most romantic ruin in Wales – as voted by readers of Countryfile magazine

Fresh Air…..

After having a rough two days feeling unwell we both had a bit of cabin fever and were ready to spend the day out and about. We started with a morning walk down the beach and a coffee and came back to a cooked breakfast. Then off we went to Carreg Cennen Castle. Things were not looking good when we came to a closed road but we found a way around. Off we went on the walk up to the castle and it did not disappoint.

A Perfect fit.

We explored the natural cave, which was a very tight squeeze. Found the doorways were built just for fraser!

We stood from different vantage points of the castle and tried to imagine what it was like in the 1200s. We came back down to enjoy lunch and a beer before heading back home and having traditional fish and chips for dinner.
