The Bloc Hotel in Gatwick is conveniently located inside the South Terminal, making it a very easy and quick walk to the departure gate. This made for a seamless transfer and start to our travel to Norway. Unfortunately, our flight to Oslo was delayed, resulting in us missing our connecting flight to Tromso. We managed to catch a later flight instead and finally arrived around 7 pm. However, our checked luggage did not make it and stayed behind in Oslo overnight. Hopefully, the luggage will be on the morning flight today and catch up with us soon. On a brighter note, the apartment we’re staying in at Seminarbakken 4 is very pleasant and comfortable, which is a big relief after the travel hiccups.
Update: Bags arrived on the Monday morning flight. (phew).
